Smartly, a provider of AI-powered advertising solutions, announced the appointment of Kelly Uphoff as its new chief technology officer. Uphoff will spearhead Smartly’s global engineering team to help the company advance its AI capabilities, including continuous decision intelligence for marketers across the campaign lifecycle.
More than 800 brands leverage Smartly’s platform to manage, optimize and scale high-performance campaigns. Its solution combines creative strategy and media media management to enable production of dynamic, data-driven image and video assets optimized for various channels. Prior to joining Smartly, Uphoff worked at Tala building the infrastructure for personalized financial products. She also led data science and engineering teams at Netflix.
