I'm excited to announce my submission and entry for the SeedCon Fast-Pitch Competition! It's great to be a member of the dynamic and vibrant Chicago startup community. And I hope to be selected for the event and I look forward to the opportunity to share my business with the world.
My company, Slipstream Health, is a medical device company. We make things, well, one thing for now. And it's not really being made, yet -- that's why I'm entering! This novel medical device that has been developed, has patents pending, and represents something that needs to made. And in doing so, the result will be job creation (there are nearly 750,000 annual addressable procedures ... potentially requiring 750,000 annual devices), reduced costs to the healthcare system (avoiding excess spending on hospital acquired conditions), and improved clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. I'm excited about SeedCon and I look forward to meeting other entrepreneurs at the event!
