CycleTracer, the 21st Century bike lock
Have you or anyone you know ever had their bicycle stolen? Not on our watch! Over 1 million bicycles are stolen every year. CycleTracer has come up with a smarter bike lock that offers better security.
CycleTracer can be controlled by your smart phone and the minute someone tampers with your bike lock, it sounds an alarm and notifies you and others in your network. The CycleTracer team has experience in cycling, technical product design and product marketing.
Problem: Over 1 million bicycles are stolen every year
Over 1 million bicycles are stolen every year. In the US alone, Cyclists spend over $250 million per year on locks that have two main weaknesses – they can be cut and they can be picked. Additionally, cyclists often have to replace their locks because they lose their keys.
Solution: CycleTracer offers a smarter bike lock
CycleTracer provides a smarter bike lock. It can’t be picked because it has no key hole. In fact it has no key! You unlock it by pressing a button on your smart phone.
CycleTracer won’t be cut, because the minute someone tries to cut your lock it sounds an alarm and sends you, the authorities and others in your network a message.
