Seattle startups tackling COVID-19. From telemedicine to video chat, companies are turning to creative solutions to help alleviate issues presented by the virus. Gates-funded program to offer coronavirus testing. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation pledged $5M to Seattle-area health agencies to test for and mitigate the spread of COVID-19. People will be able to fill out and online questionnaire, and if their symptoms are consistent, a testing kit will arrive at their home within two hours. [Built In Seattle]

Banzai raised $7M. The startup sells event marketing software. DNX Ventures led the Series A round with participation from Vulcan Capital. [GeekWire]
