AI customer experience startup Scrunch AI has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round led by Decibel, with participation from Mayfield, Homebrew and others.

According to a company blog post, the funds will be used to strengthen Scrunch’s AI-native marketing infrastructure, particularly through its new Scrunch Agent Experience Platform, which creates a machine-readable version of a brand’s website, allowing marketers to deliver content that AI systems can easily interpret without changing their actual site.

In the same blog post, Scrunch co-founders Chris Andrew and Robert MacCloy said the platform is currently being tested with select customers and will launch more widely in the coming months.

Over the past three months, Scrunch’s customer base has grown by 50 percent each month, with more than 500 brands now using the platform to measure and improve how they appear in AI-generated answers.
