Forging a greater relationship between Austin's startup community and UT's campus community is a high priority for many of us on the 40 Acres. We've continuously developed initiatives like the Austin Technology Incubator, Longhorn Entrepreneurship Agency and now the UT Austin Startup Job Fair to achieve this goal.
Our first Startup Job Fair in March proved that startups can recruit more effectively in venues where big brands don't steal the show and students are expecting startup opportunities. After seeing the success of the UT Entrepreneurship Week Startup Job Fair, we've decided to make it a semesterly affair.
The next UT Austin Startup Job Fair is November 21 from 9am until Noon in the SAC Ballroom on campus. We expect over 500 students from every major on campus. Early registration ends on 10/31 but startups may register up until the week of the fair.
Startups looking to reserve a booth at the fair may do so here. Anyone seeking a startup job or internship, not just UT students, may attend the fair but we ask everyone RSVP at UTLEA.org/JobFair.
