PatientPoint, a digital point-of-care company headquartered in Ohio with an expansive U.S. network, will be acquired by private equity investor Advent International. The acquisition is part of Advent’s strategy to expand its healthcare portfolio as it works to transform businesses in the healthcare, technology, business services and consumer sectors.
PatientPoint has over three decades of experience providing digital content and diagnostic tools to improve health outcomes. The company operates in 30,000 physician offices and works with 125,000 providers to deliver targeted content that influences patient and provider behavior.
Advent plans to support PatientPoint’s growth by expanding its network and driving product innovation. The acquisition is expected to enhance PatientPoint’s ability to deliver personalized and measurable health campaigns, benefiting providers, patients and sponsors. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025.
