Honolulu-based defense technology company Onebrief secured $200 million in a Series D funding round. Led by Battery Ventures and Sapphire Ventures, the round brings Onebrief’s valuation to over $2 billion.

Onebrief specializes in AI-powered solutions to help military commands optimize workflows and transform operations. It will invest its new funding in scaling and enhancing its command operations platform by tying planning, wargaming, simulation and live decision support into its ecosystem.

The capital largely supports Onebrief’s acquisition of defense tech company Battle Road Digital. Alongside expanding its AI Assist product, Onebrief is investing in incorporating Battle Road’s gaming technology to further its capabilities in real-time operational decision support.

“The Series D and the Battle Road acquisition are key milestones in our effort to build the superhuman military command,” said Grant Demaree, CEO of Onebrief in a statement. “We are pleased to have the support of new investors like Sapphire and Salesforce Ventures and returning ones like Battery.”
