As exciting as it may be to move into a new home, gathering all the pieces for a smooth transition can prove to be easier said than done. Coupling the challenges of transporting copious amounts of furniture with the hassle of closing contracts, the process can be just as taxing as it is rewarding. Looking to lighten the load for homebuyers and help brokers and agents support their clients, MooveGuru announced it secured a new round of funding for its property tech solution on Tuesday.

The Roswell-based company secured $5 million in equity capital from investors including Victorum Capital. Its platform works to help brokers and agents engage with their clients using AI-powered marketing solutions, as well as help them set up the homeowner’s utilities and home services. The round brings the company’s total funding to $8.6 million to date.

“MooveGuru offers solutions for moving consumers and homeowners to save money and take the stress out of homeownership,” Scott Oakley, the company’s CEO, told Built In via email. “With MooveGuru’s 68 data integrations in the real estate, title and mortgage industry we automate the process for the consumer.”

MooveGuru has developed tools including Homekeepr, a platform to help homeowners find locally recommended home service professionals, and YourHomeHub, an app that helps users manage the financial details and physical elements of their home. The company is investing its latest injection of funding in building out additional products.

“Our latest product, YourHomeHub, has some proprietary AI in the back end that we cant disclose, but in general it allows the consumer to do everything within their home,” Oakley said. “Then for the real estate brokerage, mortgage brokerage and insurance brokerage, it gives them a platform to offer consumers more options.”

Combining features from both HomeKeepr and YourHomeHub, the company strives to provide homeowners with a centralized place to store closing documents, insurance documents, receipts, photos and the like, and be their go-to place to find “everything home,” according to Oakley.

As it works toward achieving this mission, MooveGuru is working to build out its internal team. Currently 41 people strong, the company plans to hire about three new employees a week, Oakley said. The available roles span departments including engineering, sales and support.
