Microsoft Canada, the Toronto-based subsidiary overseeing Microsoft’s operations nationwide, has announced the appointment of Matt Milton as its new president.
Milton brings over two decades of leadership experience in the tech industry, having held senior roles at Kyndryl and IBM. Throughout his career, he has led multi-billion-dollar global businesses, leveraging an understanding of North American market dynamics and a commitment to AI-driven growth.
According to a company statement, Milton will play a key role in advancing Microsoft’s AI strategy in Canada, accelerating the adoption of responsible AI technologies and helping Canadian organizations lead in the digital economy by transforming into frontier firms.
