Something that I've been observing lately is the birth of a high amount of opportunities in the city of Chicago for ALL TYPES of talent! Makes me smile :) But just as places like NY and L.A are over-saturated with talent, it's seeming like the certain internet-based communities (of all industry types) are become over-saturated as well (if they are not properly organized).
I definitely still think the effectiveness of these internet-based communities are at an all time high, but it's certainly raising the competitveness.
One Simple Solution: Make your mark online & offline.....EVENTS! Go to them: Networking, Mixers, Workshops, Conferences, Pitching Events, Showcases etc
