Google's mobile revenue problem is exactly our opportunity

Google's earnings report from yesterday is making global headlines.  Here's a quote from Larry Page:  “Monetization on mobile queries right now is a significant fraction of desktop,” Larry Page, Google’s chief executive, said.

However, they're not necessarily coming fully clean on the scope of the difficulties they face because it is not just a matter of click through ad rates being lower on mobile for now.  It is also very much an issue that on smartphone screens, there isn't enough real estate to show an effective mix of sponsored links and organic results.

We've been explaining the how and why of Google's mobile problem for a while.  For example, here's a white paper/slide deck describing the problem and our solution:

From our start-up company's perspective, this is excellent news because it underscores the disruption presented by mobile to the companies that won in the PC-based Web, such as Facebook and Google.

Our cloud app (https://www.webhub.mobi) solves the dual problem of making the mobile web easy, and monetizing the mobile web.  In other words, we're a start-up that is positioned to be a major factor in the mobile web, including how it gets effectively monetized and how search evolves in the context of smartphone touch screens.

Feel free to contact me if you'd like to learn more about what we do, including how we provide a solution to monetizing the mobile web, that's backed by a global patent portfolio.
