Funding Feeding Frenzy - I’m Going & So Should You

On Wednesday of this week, I will be attending my 4th Funding Feeding Frenzy event that is organized by Extraordinary Success, LLC.  As usual, I am looking forward to making new connections, networking with current connections, learning and hearing about some pretty amazing business start-up or growth ventures.

I belong to #MsTech, a private Facebook group.  Last week, someone in our group asked if anyone had attended Funding Feeding Frenzy and would they recommend it to other businesses and individuals.  I stepped right up to answer that question.  Obviously, if you have a product or service that you want to pitch to a panel of investors, you should have already signed up to attend and pitch.  But fear not, there is still a chance to spread the word about your product or service and thus meet some people that might help you raise financing.  You want to attend as a Demo Company and get a demo table in the booth area if you have a product or service.  Another reason you would want to attend is to create/renew connections with investors, start-ups, decision makers and entrepreneurs.  No matter if you are attending as a Presenting Company, a Demo Company or an Attendee, you will learn a lot, meet some pretty fabulous people and have fun.

At the previous Funding Feeding Frenzy events, I have met some pretty amazing people that are some of the major movers and shakers here in the Chicago Tech and Start-up circles.  Some of these people have become more than just business acquaintances because of the fact that we see and talk with each other at a lot of events where businesses pitch their ideas in hopes of raising capital for their venture.  I would encourage anyone to attend Funding Feeding Frenzy if you want to keep your fingers on the top of new things happening here in Chicago.

I am very lucky this time because I am attending as part of the support team.  At the event, I will be Tweeting and making other posts to social media sites.  The Twitter hashtag I will be using is “#FundingFF”.  I encourage you to follow & join the conversation on Twitter.  I will have my cameras with me so I will be taking pictures and videos.  Please stop by so we can chat for a few minutes.  Just look for @TektiteGroup (Jean Pickering) in the middle of everything.
