Fortune Brands Innovations, a company dedicated to creating home, security and digital products for commercial and residential spaces, announced the appointment of its new chief executive officer. Jesse Singh joins the company, effective immediately, and has been appointed to its board of directors.

Previously CEO of The AZEK Company, Singh brings more than three decades of leadership experience across the building products, consumer, tech and manufacturing sectors. David Barry, who served as interim CEO until Singh’s appointment, has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer. The two will collaborate closely to spearhead the company’s day-to-day leadership.

“Jesse is a proven public-company executive with deep experience leading building products and branded consumer products businesses from his time at AZEK, 3M and GE,” Susan Kilsby, board chair, said in a statement. “With Jesse’s focus on operational excellence and outstanding record of success, we believe he is the right leader to build on Fortune Brands’ strong brands, channel positions and innovation capabilities to strengthen performance and generate long-term shareholder value.”
