Business coach Flo Bowen will lead a webinar this Wednesday on the methodology behind a good team meeting. Topics covered will include how to prepare for a meeting, distribute work loads, address conflicting personalities, get things done more efficiently and eliminate un-focused multitasking during meetings.
Free Crash Course — Intro to Java: Creating a Sorting Function, May 3 at 6 p.m.
Head over to The Iron Yard for a free crash course introduction to Java, the most popular programming language. Learn the basics including variables, control flow, classes, objects and collections. Please bring a laptop.
MobilityX Hackathon, May 5 at 6 p.m.
MobilityX and car2go invite all hackers to solve real-world problems of car accessibility throughout the city. The event will be held at Capital Factory over the course of three days and will feature judges, mentors and cash prizes up to $10,000.
