Dyna Robotics has secured $120 million in a Series A funding round led by Robostrategy, CRV and First Round Capital, with additional backing from Salesforce Ventures, NVentures, the Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund and others.

According to Dyna, it plans to use the funding to expand its research and engineering teams and further develop its general-purpose foundation model for robots in commercial environments. This round follows the company’s $23.5 million seed round in March and the launch of its first robot, DYNA-1.

Dyna’s approach combines AI with deep research to build embodied robots capable of performing a wide range of real-world tasks. Unlike many robotics companies, its single-weight, general-purpose foundation model can operate across diverse environments and is already deployed in commercial settings like hotels, restaurants and gyms.

“Right now, three forces are colliding at once: AI breakthroughs are maturing, hardware is accelerating and the demand for labor has never been higher. That convergence has created a once-in-a-generation opportunity. Dyna has made rapid progress over twelve months, and we believe our ultimate goal, achieving physical AGI, is not far off,” Co-Founder York Yang said in a statement.
