DNSFilter, a Washington, D.C.-based company focused on making the internet safer and workplaces more secure, recently raised an additional $15 million in a Series A extension from investor Insight Partners.
The company provides protective domain name system, or DNS, and web filtering solutions. Its goal is to provide advanced security solutions that block threats before they can infiltrate a company’s network.
The funding will support DNSFilter’s expansion efforts, its research and development initiatives and its customer success and leadership teams. With more than 150 employees worldwide, DNSFilter currently protects over 27 million end users across nearly 30,000 organizations on a monthly basis.
