Healthcare software firm Dedalus announced it will create 100 new jobs in Ireland over the next four years as part of a €10 million expansion supported by IDA Ireland.
IDA Ireland reported on Tuesday that the investment will grow Dedalus’ Irish team from 50 to 150, with new roles spanning software engineering, product management, data and analytics, cybersecurity and other key functions.
Michael Lohan of IDA Ireland said in a statement that the decision “underscores IDA Ireland’s track record and reputation as a leading location for digital health and enterprise software,” adding that the jobs will drive innovation in patient care and bolster the country’s standing in the regional healthtech sector.
Dedalus has already made progress this year through collaborations with local healthcare partners, including deploying new clinical applications at Beaumont Hospital and working with St. James’s Hospital to modernize laboratory information management systems.
