Contentful, a composable content platform, has announced its acquisition of Ninetailed, a company based in Berlin specializing in structured content personalization and experimentation. The deal enables Contentful to integrate AI-driven personalization tools into its offerings.
Contentful provides more than 4,200 enterprise customers with a scalable platform that helps them deliver impactful customer experiences by leveraging their digital content. The company’s solution includes an ecosystem of over 100 integrations and plug-ins. While Contentful is designed for technical users, the addition of Ninetailed’s tech allows it to provide low-code experience-building and personalization tools for marketers and designers.
The companies’ combined solution will offer composability, an API-first architecture, generative AI capabilities and expedited edge delivery. Its goal is to streamline identification, selection and experimentation for enterprises, enabling them to analyze personalized experiences across channels without creating new workflows.
