Chime, a San Francisco-based fintech company, has appointed Madhu Muthukumar as its first chief product officer. Madhu has more than decade of experience in product development at consumer, fintech and business-to-business software companies such as Robinhood, Oculus VR and Twitter. Most recently, Muthukumar served as CPO at Notion.
In his new role, Muthukumar will work to advance Chime’s mission to provide everyday banking and payment services that are helpful, easy and free.
Muthukumar is tasked with building on Chime's existing product momentum and pushing the company into the next stage of its product roadmap. Chime plans to launch more offerings that align with its members’ needs. Muthukumar anticipates the opportunity to help everyday Americans achieve financial peace-of-mind.
