It was announced today that CareTree has been selected as one of 10 finalists to compete in the AARP Health Innovation@50+ LivePitch. The Health Innovation@50+ event offers the venture capital and angel investor community as well as the media, the opportunity to connect with these outstanding start-ups. It takes place on September 21st at the annual 2012 Life@50+ AARP National Event & Expo in New Orleans, which is attended by 20,000+ members and guests from across the U.S. and the globe.
CareTree.me is a collaboration platform designed to replace the paper records in the home health and senior care industries with an online platform that centralizes information and automates communication with care stakeholders.
CareTree.me is operated out of Chicago and was founded by Carl Hirschman and Vince Hofmeister. CareTree is a participant in the 2012 Chicago Lean Startup Challenge and 2012 Chicago Health Tech Challenge.
