Mid-market investor Bridgepoint has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Lansweeper, a Belgium-based company offering a technology asset intelligence platform.
Organizations across sectors like manufacturing, financial services and healthcare use Lansweeper’s platform to access a complete picture of their IT, OT, cloud and IoT assets. Its capabilities help enterprises cut down on exposure risk and improve cybersecurity and operational resilience.
The company already maintains a significant presence in North America and Europe, and the Bridgepoint transaction is expected to support expanded cybersecurity capabilities, innovation investments, international growth and a stronger network of technology partners. As a result of the deal, Lansweeper will also be able to pursue selective acquisitions that can help drive expansion across its product offerings and global operations.
“Bridgepoint brings deep technology sector expertise and a strong track record of helping software businesses scale internationally. Together, we share a clear ambition: to further strengthen our position as the global leader in technology asset intelligence, accelerate innovation across our platform, expand our international footprint and unlock new opportunities in AI and cybersecurity,” Lansweeper CEO Dave Goossens said in a statement.
Goossens and the broader Lansweeper management team will remain significant shareholders, while investment company Dovesco retains a minority stake. However, Insight Partners and Imker Group will exit, with the transaction’s closure anticipated by the end of 2026.
