U.S. accounting automation company Biller Genie has opened a new office in Belfast, with plans to create 100 jobs across engineering, product development and operational roles by 2028.
In an announcement on Wednesday, Biller Genie said the new team will focus on improving its automation platform, which helps small and medium-sized businesses manage accounts receivable by automating invoicing, payment reminders and transaction reconciliation.
The company chose Northern Ireland after considering several other global locations, including Orlando, Florida, India and South America, ultimately settling on Belfast for its strong talent pool and growing technology sector.
So far, 20 roles have already been filled, with further recruitment planned over the next few years.
A spokesperson for Invest Northern Ireland said the new positions are expected to add around £6.5 million in annual salaries to the local economy.
