We were thrilled to pieces to attend the Chicago Techweek Expo where we announced the releasing of a series of upgrades and features on BigMarker.com. But in case you missed our announcement or didn't have a chance to come by our booth here’s what’s new:
- A whole new look. The Conference Room got a complete interface makeover. That means, in addition to a sharp new color scheme, it’s easier to navigate.
- New audio system. The Conference Room audio has been optimized for clarity and consistency.
- Increased Conference Room capacity. With a Pro Community, you can host Conferences of up to 200 attendees.
- Moving toward mobile! You can now enter the Conference Room using Android devices to listen in.
- Microphones now optional. Attendees can listen to the audio without sharing their microphone, which also means attendees do not need a microphone in order to listen to the Conference.
- Speaker spotlight. Using voice tracking technology, the Conference Room is able to automatically feature the video of the person who is speaking.
- Go Pro for both privacy and customization. Pro Communities introduce more options and customization in your Private Community. Choose from one of four price points to create a space that suits both your Community’s needs and budget. - Larger Conference Rooms. Create a Pro Community to upgrade to a 100 person or 200 person Conference Room.
- Sub-Communities. Divide your organization into departments, chapters, or classrooms using Sub-Communities.
- Free 30 Day Trial! Try a Pro Community, no-risk. Create any Pro Community and it’s yours free, for a 30 day trial.
- Additional storage. Bump your 8 GB of storage up to 20, 50, or even 100 GB to meet your storage needs.
- Home page redesign. You’ll have probably noticed already that the home page looks different when you sign in, but we thought we’d mention it again anyway.
- A BigMarker tour. Getting started with BigMarker is easier than ever. Direct new members to Take a Tour to give them a quick overview of what it means to join a BigMarker Community.
- Presenters are now Hosts. Hosts are designated Community members who are able to create, edit, and control (or host!) Community Conferences.
- Streamlined creation processes. Both the Community Creation and Conference Creation Processes have been streamlined to make set-up smoother.
