Healthtech company Assort Health secured a $76 million Series B funding round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. The San Francisco-based company, which uses agentic artificial intelligence to improve the patient experience, will focus on hiring and building out its technology offerings.

The company provides omnichannel AI agents that integrate with existing electronic health record and patient management systems to streamline patient communication. It aims to reduce lengthy call wait times for patients and high call volume workloads for front office staff. Assort Health reported that customers using its system have experienced an 89 percent decrease in patient call wait times and a 98 percent resolution rate for inquiries.

Assort Health plans to use the investment to speed up the development of its Assort OS platform and expand its team. Its latest round follows its Series A funding from April and boosts its total capital raised to $102 million.
