Ambience Healthcare Secures $243M to Expand Its AI Platform

The company’s solution serves clinicians, administrators and patients across more than 100 health systems.

Healthtech platform Ambience Healthcare announced $243 million in Series C funding. The round was co-led by investors Oak HC/FT and Andreessen Horowitz and will help advance the company’s AI platform for health systems.

From ambulatory clinics and emergency departments to inpatient hospitals, various types of health systems leverage Ambience’s solution. The company currently serves over 100 such entities, including Cleveland Clinic, UCSF Health, Houston Methodist and Memorial Hermann. Its platform helps clinicians automate documentation, administrators standardize coding workflows and patients gain better understanding and care follow-through.

The new funding will allow Ambience to expand its platform across health systems and accelerate product delivery. The company works to streamline administrative tasks, ensure accurate data and make care teams more effective.
