Divya Raju: I’m Divya Raju. I’m a QA Manager at Allwyn.
Kelly Roessler: I’m Kelly Roessler, Retail Marketing Manager at Allwyn.
Joseph Rodriguez: My name is Joseph Rodriguez. I’m the Supply Chain Manager at Allwyn North America.
Joseph Rodriguez: Allwyn is a multinational lottery operator, supplier, and business partner.
Kelly Roessler: Allwyn is a creative environment. Everyone that works here is super different, but we all come together to come up with ideas, new things that we see that are interesting to us. We're also fueled by research, so we have a lot of data that can support those creative ideas.
Divya Raju: I feel very valued as an employee because all my aspirations are taken very seriously. I’m given a lot of space to grow within the current role that I have. We are always encouraged to learn new things, explore new areas, and take up new responsibilities, so it feels great that my career is not stagnant. I just keep growing.
Interviewer: Do you feel like you get to make an impact?
Joseph Rodriguez: Working here, I get to change lives. I literally get to be a part of changing somebody's life. So whether it's a small prize or a large prize, that impacts somebody's life. And I love being able to be a part of that.
Interviewer: How do you know Allwyn cares about its people?
Kelly Roessler: I know Allwyn cares about its people because I always see them improving policies and benefits. We're always working together to make sure everyone's happy, and that this is a great working environment.
Joseph Rodriguez: I've never been in a company that cared more about my personal life than my professional life.
Interviewer: How would you say you lead your team?
Divya Raju: Mainly through empowerment. I make sure that I lead the team to answers rather than giving solutions to them directly. That encourages them to reach solutions on their own, work with their peers, and come up with a plausible solution.
Joseph Rodriguez: Being able to collaborate and not be stuck in a silo, stuck to my own team — it makes every day different. I can talk to folks in different departments who have completely different backgrounds, on a personal level and also on a professional level, which is amazing.
Interviewer: Does Allwyn take diversity, equity, and inclusion seriously?
Divya Raju: Yes, very much. Our organization is extremely diverse. We work with different parts of the country, different parts of the world. We have teams in Greece, the UK, and India that we work with.
Interviewer: Are you excited about the future at Allwyn?
Kelly Roessler: I'm excited about my future here. I've been here for five years, and I hope that I can continue helping make the Illinois Lottery successful and continue working with all the great people that I've become friends with.
