1. Coffee and SEO talk: Harold Compton in the Limelight, Jan 13 at 9 a.m.
Coffee and SEO is a morning meeting of a handful of people. It’s super casual and totally lacks structure. It’s great for networking and discussing SEO. This month in the Limelight, we have Harold Compton, a retired Marine that spent 25 years as a Communications/Information Systems Officer.
2. Intro to Austin Accelerators and Ask Me Anything with Joshua Baer, Jan. 13 at 4 p.m.
Are you an entrepreneur starting a new company? Recently moved your comany to Austin? Come hear an overview from an experienced entrepreneur and angel investor and get a chance to introduce yourself and ask questions. We also try to have some founders who have gone through different accelerators there to share their own first-hand experiences.
3. Playing Lean: Teaching Entrepreneurship with a board game, Jan. 14 at 6 p.m.
At this free workshop, Norwegian entrepreneur Tore Rasmussen will tell you everything you need to know about how to use a boardgame in a workshop to teach Lean Startup. He will also take you through how it applies for teachers, founders and intrapreneurs.
4. TechBreakfast Presented by Luna Data Solutions, Jan. 15 at 8 a.m.
At this monthly breakfast get-together techies, developers, designers, and entrepreneurs share learn from their peers through show and tell / show-case style presentations.
