Sydney’s 3D-printing industry is heavily focused on increasing sustainability in manufacturing. The city recently opened a recycling facility for electronic waste that produces the filament that is necessary to 3D printing. The facility is the first of its kind in the world and eliminates the need for imported petrochemicals in creating filament. These and other technology initiatives support continued growth in the Australian 3D printing sector. We’ve put together a list of the companies driving innovation in the space.
