Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on networking and security testing.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, routing, and switching.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and technologies, including SSL/TLS, IPSec, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar with Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex networking and security issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, CEH) are a plus.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of networking and security features in our products.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of networking protocols, security mechanisms, and related functionalities.
  • Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide input on design, usability, and functionality from a networking and security perspective.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in networking and security testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on potential security vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices within the organization.
