What You’ll Do

Samsung Semiconductor Inc. is looking for a talent that has strong background and experience on process integration of semiconductor technology development. The candidate will be developing the next generation DRAM technology.

The Process Integration Engineer of Samsung Semiconductor will be responsible for growing Samsung’s memory business, building technology leadership and market opportunities.

Location: This is a Hybrid role, working onsite at our San Jose headquarters at least 3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time with an average of 10% travel

  • Plan, design, and implement process integration for quality wafer fabrication process for future DRAM
  • Define technology requirements, design rule, structural and electrical specifications
  • Execute technology integration activities in novel DRAM device components such as memory array transistors, capacitors, CMOS transistors, and memory array interface
  • Identify key module requirements, technology gaps and drive cross function team
  • Engage with cross-function teams with simulation, process development, process architect, circuit design, quality assurance, to meet the target product requirements
  • Process module development and full process integration
  • Documentation for the process integration, potential issues, and test plan for managers and engineers
  • Technical interactions with internal and external customers.
  • Analyze, extract, interpretive, feedback inline inspection data, measurement data to improve performance and reliability
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned

 

What You Bring

  • BS and 10+ years of industry experience; MS with 8+ years of industry experience or PhD and 5+ years of industry experience preferred.
  • DRAM and/or NAND memory research and development experience.
  • Required knowledge, achievements, and skillsets in unit process engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Design of Experience principles and analytical skills
  • Experiences with process integration and core/peri architecture co-optimization.
  • Proficient with statistical data analysis software

Base Pay Range

$153,075$236,925 USD
