Job Description:
The EMRF Division is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to support an anticipated program award. This position will be responsible for financial forecasting, program financial execution, EVMS, and various ad hoc analyses.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for managing, preparing, administering, and directing the control of the budget for large and/or complex programs.
- Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
- Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
- Conducts detailed financial analysis.
- Interprets and implements most proposal estimating, pricing and documentation requirements.
- Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree in Finance or Accounting and a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a finance or accounting role. Minimum of 4 years of experience with a Master's Degree. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years or prior related experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Must have experience with Earned Value Management(EVMS)

- Strong teamwork and business partnering skills
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience with MPM, PeopleSoft, and ProPricer
- Experience with cost/schedule development, budgeting, Excel spreadsheets, Customer/Management reporting, and forecasting
- Process improvement oriented, ability to identify and implement improvement ideas
- Self-motivated accurate, and strong analytical/organizational skills
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $85,000- $145,000 in California. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
