Lead and develop a talented engineering teamof senior professionals and managers responsible forthe development of Honeywell's Aerospace products. You will leverageyour technical experience and skills to guide your team in the investigation andsolution of challenging technical problems. You will use your leadership skillsto motivate teams that are designing new or modifying existingproducts, parts and processes. By collaborating with customers andbroader engineering teams, you will balance team workload and drive exceptionalteam performance with high impact for the business.

  • Influence & challenge engineeringteams to effectively solve complex engineering problems.
  • Accelerate innovation and growth while leading a team of talentedexperienced engineers.
  • Partner with customers and broader engineering teams to ensure the resourcesand skills needed to drive business growth.
  • Anthem Functional ownership: The Connectivity and Maintenance Systems forthe Anthem program are designed to be the gateway to transmit and receiveaircraft data in a cyber secured way. This includes interfacing withother Anthem engineering development teams, Hardware team, Certification,Connected and security orgs.
  • Responsiblefor coordination across engineering IPTs systems, software,and hardware
  • Responsible for all phases of product and platform lifecycle(design, development, integration, test,certification, production, in-service)

  • Burning Platform: Demonstration of developing and delivering acompelling burning platform for your department.
  • Elements of the burningplatform are 1) Who is the competition? 2) What needs to be done to win? 3)When does it need to be done?
  • Employee Engagement: Drive employee engagement throughactivities that include, but are not limited to, strong performancefeedback, coaching, reward and recognition, and regular touch point withyour team through various channels to motivate and inform.
  • Department Operations: Drive strong employeemotivation to deliver on, and exceed key metrics tied toproductivity and efficiency. Make tough decisions and have a high bar forperformance.
  • Project Engagement: Demonstration of staffingprograms, estimating demand using available information, whileworking within the constructs of business financial constraints.Support project execution excellence, andwork proposals and quotes within all constraints.
  • GBE/Strategy/ Business Acumen: Demonstrate understanding ofyour part in the competitive landscape, including full interaction with theGlobal Business Enterprise, product strategies, customer strategies, andcompetitive intelligence.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience
  • 15 plus years of Aerospace Industry experience
  • US citizenship or resident Alien status

WE VALUE

  • Experience in the aircraft environment
  • Experience with aircraft electronic systems software and hardware.
  • Knowledge of software development methods and practices.
  • Ability to lead and influence both directly and in a matrix environment
  • Ability to Communicate up, down, and across within an organization and across organizational boundaries
  • Strong Business Acumen
