As a Senior Android TV Developer at Altice USA, you will play a crucial role in architecting, designing, and implementing high-quality software for Android TV. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the creation of engaging television experiences.
Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the Android TV development team, guiding them in architectural decisions, code reviews, and best practices specific to TV platforms.
• Lead the design and development of feature-rich TV experience, ensuring quality is in the forefront of the development.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and back-end developers to integrate features and functionalities into the TV front-end platform.
• Drive innovation in the Android TV space, exploring innovative technologies and implementing features that enhance the entertainment experience.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in Android TV development, incorporating them into the development process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of seven years of hands-on experience in Android TV development, with a proven track record of delivering successful applications.
• Must have proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android TV app development.
• Nice to have proficiency in Linux, C/C++, Bash script, Python and SQL
• In-depth knowledge of Android TV architecture, guidelines, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of developers.
• Creative thinking and a passion for exploring new possibilities in the Android TV domain.
