About the Role:

The Software Integration Engineer is responsible for the support of the sales, integration & implementation process by providing technical knowledge to internal and external clients as well as potential clients. They will develop and implement integration solutions coordinating applications across the customer's enterprise or its units/departments. They will also evaluate existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure final solutions meet organizational needs and be directly responsible for the diagnosis, configuration, deployment and support of Packsize during all steps of the sales and implementation cycles. This person will act as a critical link between customer, implementation teams and product development teams and will be familiar with the standard concepts, practices, and procedures of Warehouse Management Systems. The Software Integration Engineer relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish project goals and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

What You'll Do:

  • Represent Packsize software technology products to drive
  • Quickly establish trust and rapport with customers IT Personnel to maintain mutual commitment to the project
  • Map out current state vs. future state information flows for corresponding process flows
  • Assess customer's Order, Pick, Pack and Ship processes and all IT Systems used to fulfill an order
  • Help scope and design complete integration and implementation solutions that meet customer requirements and PACKSIZE capabilities
  • Must design, test and implement a proven solution
  • Comprehensive understanding of I.T. networking, remote access methods, windows application deployment and IOT/Edge device configuration
  • Create and document a smooth handoff to IT Customer Support Team
  • Provide support in both pre-sale and post-sale by attending presentations, product demonstrations, and installations/implementations

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field is required, advanced degrees preferred
  • Prior experience integrating and implementing cross-platform software solutions preferred
  • Prior experience with networking/I.T. systems preferred
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, WMS, or CRM systems preferred

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record
