Software Engineer II - Cloud

As a member of the Cloud IoT team within the Electronics & Connectivity department, you will work alongside multiple teams with varying focuses including iOS/Android, embedded firmware, hardware, quality assurance, data analytics, and more. The team follows Agile methodology and utilizes ceremonies like daily stand-up.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions for IoT applications using Azure and occasionally other cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement data pipelines and APIs to ingest, process, and distribute data from various sources, such as IoT devices, mobile devices, and web apps.
- Develop and deploy microservices and server less functions to enable control and management of IoT devices, such as provisioning, authentication, configuration, and firmware updates.
- Create and integrate services to support mobile and web apps, such as notifications, analytics, security, and new user experiences.
- Collaborate with other teams to understand their requirements and provide technical guidance and support.
- Provide and receive feedback via code review for existing and new code bases
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, performance, security, and reliability.
- Contribute to unit, system, and automated platform test strategies
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources and costs using various tools and best practices.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and trends in the cloud and IoT domain and propose improvements and innovations.
- Work on advanced technologies including AI, ML, Computer Vision, and IoT
