JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Software Engineer on the Frontend team at Prescriptive Data, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our flagship product, Nantum. You will work closely with other Engineering teams and Product Managers to deliver high-quality, scalable applications. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with 2-3 years of development experience who is looking to learn from the wealth of experience we already have in place on the team, while also having a significant role in delivering code within a startup environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write code as a key contributor to both customer-facing and internal-facing applications.
• Help improve and maintain our code quality through tests and code audits/reviews.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for our technology, algorithms, and products.
• Work with the Product team to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and translate findings into effective technical solutions.
• Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices and new technologies.
• Provide support to team members and participate in an ongoing knowledge exchange so that everyone learns from each other.
• Diagnose technical problems and resolve issues quickly and cleanly.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• 2+ years production-level application development
• Experience with React preferred, or willing to transition from another major FE framework
• Proficient in Javascript (Typescript would be ideal)
• Well-versed in HTML/CSS
• Working knowledge of Node.JS, Webpack, and Git
• Experience with Accessibility and Internationalization a plus
