Social Media and Community Manager
* This position is on-site in Boca Raton, FL.
The Social Media and Community Manager will oversee the company’s interactions with the public through implementing content strategies on social media platforms. The role includes analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and creating digital campaigns to build community online (write, design, publish and repurpose)
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to help us create and launch new marketing efforts in the FINTECH, TRADING and FINANCE space (experience in the industry is a plus!)
The successful candidate has the creative mind and analytical skill set to help us:
• Plan, develop and execute a social media content calendar for relevant platforms (X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram (to include Stories), LinkedIn, and future social platforms)
• Leverage measurement tools to provide progress reports and mine insights, while continually finding ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives
• Work jointly with others to develop and amplify campaigns conducted throughout the company to include company messages and partnerships
• Respond to audience and customers on social media (customer care best practices & engagement)
• Write multiple posts a week and and track performance
• Ensure all online efforts and messaging are consistent with the values, overall story, and voice for the target audience.
• Work closely with the company’s Chief Product Officer to devise online marketing strategies
• Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
• Analyze the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
Some evening and weekend work will be required due to the always on nature of social media
Skills and Qualifications:
- Two or more years of experience and expertise in organizing, and execution of successful social media campaigns
- Demonstrated success in growing social media presence on multiple platforms resulting in greater followers and audience engagement (X/Twitter and LinkedIn preferred)
- Understanding of social media KPIs;
- Assist with tracking and interpreting metrics to enhance user engagement, suggest content optimization
- Intermediate level of Canva or Adobe Photoshop
- Strong writing, organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Must be self-motivated but also able to effectively collaborate, work in teams and build good working relationships across multiple stakeholders
- Working knowledge and familiarity with Hubspot, WordPress and best SEO practices
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance or related field
- Interest in Trading and Finance is a must
