Copart is seeking a SRE Intern with a background in Networking. This position will be part of a 24/7 Global Network Operations team that monitors and provides L1/L2 support to Copart's global network infrastructure.

Requirements:• Progressive knowledge of monitoring protocols such as SNMP, Netflow, Syslog etc.• Knowledge in different types of monitoring methodologies i.e agent and agentless checks.• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco/Fortinet platforms and technologies including but not limited to the following:• Catalyst series switches 6500, 4500, 3700, 3800• ASA firewalls 5500, 5500-x Series• Meraki MX Firewalls, Meraki MR Access points• OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP• Any connect VPN, Site to Site VPN's, DMVPN, GRE/IPSEC VPN.• Standard ASA firewall services -- ACL's, Static/Dynamic/Policy based NAT.• FG-100E, FG-200E, FG-2500E, FG-500E, FG-60E, FortiSwitch• Proven competency and knowledge in the following areas are a BIG plus• Working knowledge using linux/unix based systems• Scripting/Programing/Automation-- Perl, Python, PHP CLI, Ansible• Front end scripting languages, libraries and frameworks such as Java, Javascript, Angular JS, Flask etc.• Be flexible and be able to handle competing/changing priorities.• Very strong oral and written communication skills• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work well in a team environment
