JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Build cloud infrastructure including Kubernetes clusters and components, databases, and storage, serverless functionality, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure reliability controls (monitoring, alerting, security policies, etc.) to migrate LNRS applications from on-premises data centers to Microsoft Azure. This migration also involves a transition to DevOps practices, agile support and process automation. Research, communicate, influence, implement, verify and maintain solutions effectively, whilst operating within a fast-paced working environment and delivering on multiple initiatives in parallel. Perform other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required.
• 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.

• Also required is: 5 years of experience: Knowledge of SDLC and change control, and associated procedures; Common source code control tools and repositories (e.g., Git/GitHub/GitLab, VS Code, SVN); Designing, building, and deploying cloud-based solutions; Automating infrastructure provisioning, Developer Operations, and/or continuous integration/delivery; Working with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code tooling; Working in Linux and Windows server including support and troubleshooting; System and application monitoring, including Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios; Working with Azure, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and GitHub; Monitoring and implementing cost saving measures; and Forecasting and planning capacity including compute configurations, storage, database, and network bandwidth, as well as the most cost-effective way to provision them.
• Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in Alpharetta, GA but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.
• Experience can be concurrent.
