About the Team:


The SEO team at Quizlet is at the forefront of understanding how and why students turn to search engines to find homework help and study material. We leverage those insights to optimize our site and enable other teams to build products that have the best chance of getting discovered through organic search. We work across product, data science, and engineering to find scalable solutions to drive revenue and user growth in +150 countries. Our team is firmly rooted in product-led SEO practices and employs a rigorous use of data in decision-making. Our SEO team is a hybrid team based in San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles.



About the Role:


As the SEO Analyst for Expert solutions, you will partner with our content team, as well as data scientists, engineers, and design to come up with solutions to accelerate user and revenue growth for our Expert Q&A and Textbook solutions products.


This is a hybrid role based out of our Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, or San Francisco office hubs.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with subject matter experts to provide content recommendations to help grow our Expert Q&A and Textbook solutions product
  • Track and analyze keyword performance, as well as work to predict future trends that may impact the Expert Q&A and Textbook solutions business
  • Work alongside data to track and analyze crawl, indexation and traffic patterns
  • Monitor and report on traffic performance for our Expert Q&A and Textbook solutions product
  • Drive user and subscription growth by expanding top of funnel traffic
  • Contribute to building a best-in-class SEO team by staying up to date on industry trends, experimenting with LLMs, and improving team processes

What you bring to the table:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a product-driven growth organization
  • 2+ years of experience in SEO
  • Familiarity with third-party keyword research tools, like Ahrefs, STAT, and Lumar
  • Open, honest, humble communicator and team player
  • Passionate about using SEO to help students find learning tools and study material 

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience using Google’s BigQuery and Sisense
  • Familiar with LLM capabilities
  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, French, or German

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a starting base salary of $75,000 - $115,000, depending on location and experience, as well as company stock options
