JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Solution Architect to support the sale of UL advisory services as the subject matter Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) expert for all aspects of UL advisory solutions, assist with pre-sale solution design, and ensure a smooth transition to deployment. You will be working side by side with our main Sales and Operational leaders, enriching the technical content/messages to our main customers in Europe and LATAM.
This role can be remote from Madrid or hybrid from Barcelona.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be aware of the broader strategy for advisory services sales, based on high level of advisory services knowledge and frequent interactions with customers and account management teams
• Support primary sellers in relationship building, lending technical credibility with customer buyers
• Work hands-on with customers pre-sale to gather solution requirements and demonstrate and communicate implementation best practices
• Interface with technical customer personnel to communicate value of solution in detail
• Support the creation of commercial templates and procedures to facilitate the advisory services proposal for clients
• Deliver technical presentations of offerings to customers and prospects
• Integrate advisory services in market environments to effectively serve customer needs
• Provide pre-sales support as a subject matter expert to the sales team and for pre-qualified opportunities
• Work with account teams, provide new perspectives to existing solutions to existing customers and Sales Executives to demonstrate value of UL advisory services to prospective customers
• Leverage technical knowledge to partner with sellers to drive overall solution win

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's and/or graduate degree in engineering or related field
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software
• Relevant technical capabilities in solar PV and BESS engineering and/or advisory services
• 6+ years of related experience
• Deep knowledge and experience with assigned specialty in development, M&A transactions in solar PV and BESS projects
• Business acumen and understanding of business sales processes

We do this through Renewable Energy Advisory and Digital Services, Environmental, Health and Safety Software & Learning programs, best in class Sustainability and ESG reporting software with UL 360, advisory services, subject matter experts and Healthy Buildings testing and verification.
