ActiveCampaign's Marketing Analytics and Ops team is seeking a Senior Marketing Data Operations Specialist to develop datasets, build data pipelines, and formulate key insights to measure marketing impact, optimize programs and model toward predictable growth. In this position, you would play a key role in analyzing and modeling data to provide actionable insights that promote business growth. In addition, you would also help support and maintain marketing automation workflows and email campaigns for various business use-cases. Commitment to objectivity, data integrity and collaborative approach will set you up for success within our team of amazing marketers.

What your day could consist of:

  • Analyze data across different digital marketing channels (Paid, Organic Search, Social, etc.) to identify factors that drive customer growth. 
  • Provide recommendations on Marketing and Product enhancements by analyzing user behavior across different stages of the customer lifecycle. 
  • Analyze website data and provide recommendations to improve our site traffic and engagement. 
  • Facilitate data transfer requests across various third party platforms via Zapier or through integrations. 
  • Set-up marketing automations, landing pages, forms, tags, custom objects, etc. using ActiveCampaign to capture leads and nurture them. 
  • Work closely with the Email & Lifecycle teams to create, monitor and report on various campaigns. 
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Sales, Finance and customer facing teams to build a holistic view of our prospects and customers. 
  • Document processes, workflows and establish best practices for smooth day to day operations. 

What is needed:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics and operations
  • Hands-on experience with analytical/visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, etc. 
  • Experience with Google or Adobe suite of products (Analytics, Tag Manager, etc.) 
  • Intermediate experience with writing and optimizing SQL queries
  • Experience in predictive modeling techniques using R or Python
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms like ActiveCampaign, Marketo, Pardot or other similar platforms. 
  • Results-oriented self-starter with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience in SaaS and serving the SMB market is a plus
