Synthego is looking for a dynamic and versatile individual to add to its accounting team by adding a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting. Core responsibilities include supporting the accounting team with technical accounting matters 

and involving in the Company’s accounting operations and related financial and management reporting requirements.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the accounting and financial reporting function, including investors management and reporting
  • Design, implement and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures and controls
  • Provide technical accounting subject matter expertise on the treatment of accounting transactions and related financial reporting requirements
  • Support the monthly accounting close process
  • Support the production and preparation of financial information required for filings of the Company’s financials with external stakeholders
  • Lead the execution of year-end audit procedures in partnership with independent auditors
  • Lead the execution of annual corporate income tax provision/filing in partnership with tax consultants
  • Evaluate the accounting and financial reporting impact of operational decisions
  • Provide support and analysis to the business planning process on accounting related matters
  • Assist finance and internal departments with accounting and reporting related matters
  • Support ad hoc projects

About You:

  • Degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA
  • Minimum of 6-8 years experience in accounting/audit
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to details
  • Ability to effectively interact with senior management and functional departments managers
  • Results oriented
  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Experience with business process improvement
  • Strong financial systems background
