Position Summary:

We are looking for a Senior HRIS Analyst to join our team as the lead for our HRIS security processes and to own the HRIS aspects of our internal integrations. At McDermott, each member of the HRIS team partners with three to five groups within the HR function and other critical cross-functional areas and supports them with all HR technology-related projects and processes. Our Senior Analyst will provide HRIS support for our Total Rewards, Enterprise Applications, and Office Administration functions.

This position is one of four Analyst/Senior Analyst positions who report to our global HRIS Manager and is part of our broader HR Operations and Technology team. Over the next year, our team's top priority will be strengthening relationships with our HR, IT, and cross-functional colleagues and ensuring they get the most value possible from our HR systems and the solutions we manage.

As a Sr. HRIS Analyst you will:

  • Lead the design and ongoing maintenance of system integrations with the Firm's HR systems
  • Manage HRIS security protocols, including implementing security management policies, completing ongoing audits and change requests, and partnering with IT and Data Privacy to adapt new security policies
  • Act as the HRIS business relationship lead for aligned business functions and ensure their HR technology-related priorities and initiatives are integrated in the Firm's HR technology roadmap
  • Research and summarize the HR software trends and emerging technologies and share key findings and recommendations with the broader HR function
  • Seek out and implement opportunities to leverage AI technology to streamline and improve HR processes
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for HRIS procedures and system configurations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, completing root cause analysis, and implementing new technology-enabled processes for the HR functions

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least seven (7) year of related work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software
  • Knowledge of HRIS integrations and API concepts and tools
  • Knowledge of global, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to simplify and summarize complex concepts and ideas for different audiences
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
