The Job Details

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who will be responsible for implementing the user interface, engineering the experience of every site/software being put out by the business and building out patterns and abstractions that emphasize the efficiency of sites/software.

What you’ll do as a Senior Frontend Engineer

  • Develop and implement high-quality, responsive user interfaces for desktop and mobile devices using modern frontend technologies
  • Generate reusable components and keep a clean code base
  • Write and implement unit tests
  • Deploy applications with Azure DevOps or Jenkins
  • Update and upgrade third party packages
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Maintain and extend the functionality of existing projects
  • Troubleshoot, debug issues, propose practical solutions and test solutions
  • Participate in architectural discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.
  • Follow best practices and deliver a high-quality product 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Collaborate with other team members, such as designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies to enhance the overall frontend development process.

You’ve Got:

  • BSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related disciplines
  • 4+ years experience in hands-on frontend development 
  • In-depth experience of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and their libraries and frameworks like Angular,React, SCSS, Bootstrap etc.
  • Experience in Responsive Development
  • Experience with REST and SOAP
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design
  • Experience in version controlling systems(Git)
  • Experience with writing unit tests
  • Good understanding of web standards 
  • Knowledge in security, performance, cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience with working in agile software development environments
  • Good English communication skills

Location & Working Model
We are working on a full remote model. We have physical offices in İstanbul(Ataşehir Nidakule Kolektif House) where team members can get together and work collaboratively on a volunteer basis.
