The Senior Analyst, HR Shared Services Tier 2 reports to the Senior Manager, HR Systems and is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records and payroll information in the HRIS and providing Tier 2 HRIS support. This position will lead the shared services team and primarily be responsible for employee record and payroll data entry in the HRIS, basic troubleshooting, system guidance, and request fulfillment. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging technology to create efficiency, drive system integrity, maintain SOX compliance, and deliver optimal experiences for all end users.

Responsibilities

  • Support Human Resources and Payroll by performing timely and accurate full lifecycle employee record, benefit, and payroll related data entry within the HRIS in accordance with service level agreements
  • Ensure data integrity through regular audits, resolving irregularities and partnering with stakeholders to research and correct discrepancies
  • Perform routine and ad hoc SOX compliance tasks
  • Execute or provide initiation guidance for supporting documentation for various HR programs and processes as requested
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries via various shared emailed inboxes and the ticketing system, troubleshooting routine issues and escalating inquiries as needed
  • Continuously explore and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation to maximize product offerings and optimize end user experience. Assist with creation and maintenance of process documentation
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of HR ticketing system process documentation and internal Shared Services documentation
  • Execute standard reporting requests for Human Resources and business leaders and perform analysis on Human Resources data
  • Perform routine and ad hoc compliance tasks

Qualifications 

  • Minimum education of a Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 4 years of experience supporting HRIS systems and/or payroll processing
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical aptitude
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities while demonstrating excellent multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables and v-lookups)
