WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

Hallmark's Information Technology team is seeking an experienced SAP Finance (FICO) configurator to perform in a Lead Technical Product Owner capacity. With a focus on the Finance modules, this individual will have the opportunity to engage in projects as well as support work across a broad SAP landscape, interacting with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to influence our company's efforts to further leverage our technical investment in support of continued business transformation efforts, thus helping Hallmark make a difference in the lives of others.

As a Lead Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions within the SAP Finance area, working in a collaborative environment consisting of technical teams and business stakeholders. The primary focus of this role will be on new development projects, performing SAP configuration and working closely with developers in delivering RICEF objects to satisfy business requirements. You will also work alongside support teams to troubleshoot production issues when needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 6 years of SAP FICO configuration experience with a bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a master's degree; or 1 year with a PhD; or equivalent professional SAP FICO configuration experience.
  • At least 6 years' experience in a business setting translating business challenges into technological solutions.
  • Knowledge in multiple platforms/technologies/specializations (depth and breadth).
  • Experience in key SAP modules including General Ledger, Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Accounts Payable and A/R Cash Application.
  • Knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of SAP tables structures (Finance & SD).
  • Experience working alongside Technical Teams including developers, support analysts and SAP Architect.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years SAP Finance configuration experience.
  • Experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders, bringing forward best practices.
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and providing resolution.
  • Experience performing project work related to enhancements including gathering requirements, writing functional design documents, and performing acceptance testing.
  • Strong oral and written presentation and communication skills.
  • SAP Certifications in FICO preferred.
  • Ability to analyze ABAP code (not a developer role) when troubleshooting would be helpful.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities on technology projects.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Takes personal accountability for the delivery of projects and tasks on committed timelines.
  • Positive attitude, self-starter and is able to work independently.
  • While not required, a working knowledge of Intercompany processing, Fixed Assets, Treasury or Flexible Real Estate (REFX) is a plus.
  • SAP S/4HANA experience is also a plus as Hallmark will soon be upgrading.
  • Experience on multiple end-to-end SAP implementations.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • This position is primarily remote, with travel to HQ in Kansas City, MO occasionally.
  • The salary range for this job is between $120,000 and $157,000. Salary will take into consideration several factors including location.
