We are seeking a Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA; Austin, TX; or St. Petersburg, FL office.
Job Summary
The Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect is responsible for the overall architecture, strategy, and design of Imprivata's Salesforce CPQ and billing environment. This is an extremely critical role as the Salesforce billing environment is brand new to Imprivata and we are looking for the right technical lead to own and maintain it.
This role will work closely with our Business Operations team and its Salesforce and CPQ resources to work to construct efficient and clean processes, to ensure smooth billings. With a deep knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce billing, and Netsuite, this role will be critical to our overall order to cash process. This role will be leaned on to work with the business to get proper business requirements, and guide the business teams to best practices, rather than complex customizations. This will be an individual contributor role where you will be expected to be our Salesforce billing subject matter expert and guide the teams to simpler, more streamlined solutions. This is a very hands-on role, so you will be architecting as well as building and executing on some of your designs.
As we continue to evolve into a cloud company, with true SaaS offerings, the Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect will have a pivotal role in assuring that our quoting, ordering, provisioning and billing processes are in line with the company's strategic direction. This is a highly visible role and will be expected to attend and drive executive level discussions on architecture and design.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the architecture and design of our Salesforce CPQ/billing ecosystem.
  • This is a CPQ role, but expertise in billing is expected/required as well. You will be expected to act as a subject matter expert in all things CPQ and Billing; and best practice around product billing automation, processes and the 'art of the possible'.
  • Work with the business to understand their processes and identify areas of improvement in our data integrity as it relates to billing activities.
  • Work closely with the integrations team on CPQ and Billing alignment with our ERP (NetSuite)
  • Working with other CPQ/Billing resources on designing scalable solutions to align with ever-changing business needs.
  • Own the relationship with outsourced CPQ/Billing vendors and the workflow and integration with our internal resources.
  • Reacting to shifts in product and sales strategy to ensure alignment with CPQ/Billing system and architecture.
  • Communicate with other Imprivata resources and with clients regarding status, issues and creative solutions.
  • Design solutions with the enterprise ecosystem in mind for scalable and efficient solutions
  • Keep customers (internal) updated on timeframe expectations.
  • Self-manage your time to deliver on projects as well as adhere to industry best practices


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology field
  • 4-5 years of Salesforce CPQ experience
  • 2-3 years of Salesforce Billing experience
  • 1+ years of Consulting experience is a plus
  • Large scale enterprise application architecture experience
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification
  • Salesforce Billing Super badge
  • Salesforce Platform Developer Certifications is a plus.
  • Experience with integrating CPQ/Billing with other business systems


This position offers a total compensation range of $129,800.00 to $174,800.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
