Who you are:

As a Safekeeping and Trading Operations Manager with Frost, you are our leader, providing guidance and support to every single team member on your team. In this role, you will review and approve all investment transactions posted by Custody Services employee to ensure transactions are processed accurately, promptly, and in compliance with legal requirements and Frost standards. What you'll do:

  • Respond to customer inquiries, research customer requests, open Safekeeping Accounts, and onboard new customers with product and procedures information to ensure clients follow Frost's transactional standards
  • Review and approve all investment transactions posted by Custody Services employee to ensure transactions are processed accurately, promptly, and in compliance with legal requirements and Frost standards
  • Uphold a solid understanding of the bond trade life cycle and act as an escalation point for trade settlement issues
  • Maintain an expert level of knowledge of the InTrader system, working with vendors to resolve system issues and process unusual transactions
  • Identify opportunities in departmental processes and procedures to increase efficiencies, leverage new technologies, and automate processes
  • Design and implement training plans for new Custody Services employees regarding system upgrades and implementations
  • Act as System Administrator for InTrader, Safekeeping Online Portal, and Bloomberg TOMs
  • Test the performance of system updates and assist with system implementations, creating documentation describing updates for training and identifying potential operational efficiencies that can be gained due to system enhancements
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you'll need:

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Operations, Finance, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of financial operations experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organization and problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Capital Markets or Brokerage
  • Management experience
  • Accounting experience
  • Experience with FIS product management systems such as InTrader and/or MSRB reporting systems
